The start of the build

We've finished and we've moved!

The weekend of the 27/28 April 2002 saw us all finding things in corners and cupboards that we didn't know we had! The clinic at Eye seemed a little like the tardis by the time we had offloaded it at Marlbrook. No one could believe how we had managed to squeeze in at Eye, but we all looked forward to being able to make use of the space at the new hospital.

This is what it has all been about.

Three cases waiting to have their eyes tested sitting outside the clinic under the porch outside reception.

Cheers!

Move day. Where did it all come from....
....and where is it all going to go.

April 2002

Not some bizarre local custom brought on by too much building, but an attempt to produce a smooth floor which slopes towards the drains in the kennels. The floor will have vinyl laid on it and after cleaning it can be hosed down and left to drain. It is important, therefore, to ensure that there are no dips and bumps which prevent this.

Our method of proving the floor in the kennel area did cause some amusement amongst some of the builders but it worked, and clearly showed where the floor needed adjusting.

This demonstrates the attention to detail we maintained throughout the whole build process. Ideas which has been gained throughout thirty years of veterinary practice.

More pictures to come soon.
