This site was launched eighteen months ago as a resource for our clients - referring veterinarians - and also for owners of animals with ophthalmology problems. Since it was launched we have continuously updated it and will continue to do so as time goes on.
We have, throughout the site, given advice regarding the treatment of certain conditions and recommended specific equipment and drugs which we have found particularly useful in day-to-day practice here at the clinic.
Partly as a result of those recommendations and feedback from clients we feel that it would be a further service to veterinarians, specifically, if we developed that concept. We propose, therefore, to add a number of pages which discuss the items in question and the companies by which they are produced.
To that end we propose to build a resource section containing our own editorial comment regarding various items we use and also to give useful links for you to contact the companies or their representatives.
We would like to point out that the comments contained in the Commercial Associates pages and other places on the site are our own and other than technical input they have not been prepared by the companies in question. Each company's resource page has been prepared by themselves and has no editorial input from ourselves.
Our aim is to recommend those items we find are particularly good, useful or helpful within our practice.
