Anita Neethling
Anita joined the Eye Veterinary Clinic as an intern in 2024. After graduating in South Africa in 2017, she worked in general practices in South Africa and England. During this time Anita obtained a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine and developed her interest in ophthalmology of which she is currently doing a certificate. Anita is pictured here with Elmo the King Charles Cavalier; the newest addition to staff doggy-daycare.
When not learning about eyes, Anita enjoys running, spending time in the countryside and travelling.

What wonderful staff my little mate who has been blind for 5 weeks was with them on Wednesday for his operation, after 5 very stressful, weeks for him and even for stressful for me, this morning I believe he can now see me again he woke this morning eyes wide open and a lovely sparkle in his face and I swear he was grinning at me I can’t thank John, Karen and the brilliant nurses and staff enough.

Can’t thank everyone here enough for everything they have done for Marley. He went blind just over a month ago with diabetic cataracts in both eyes, he is only 3. Ramona has been amazing from his first assessment all the way to his surgery yesterday. We will be forever grateful to you for giving him his sight back. Amazing practice and amazing people!

Would highly recommend! We had 3 visits and everytime they were really thorough and explained everything carefully to us and we felt that the health and wellbeing of our dog was their top priority. It’s well organised and it’s set in beautiful, well maintained surroundings. Thank you so much to all the staff xx
