Gemma MacLeod
Gemma has rejoined Eye Veterinary Clinic in August 2026 having had a few years gaining experience in mixed practice. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2018 and completed her degree in Veterinary Nursing Science at Hartpury University and especially enjoys anaesthesia. Outside of work, Gemma enjoys line dancing, yoga and spending time outdoors with her cocker spaniel as well as caring for her three rescue cats.

What wonderful staff my little mate who has been blind for 5 weeks was with them on Wednesday for his operation, after 5 very stressful, weeks for him and even for stressful for me, this morning I believe he can now see me again he woke this morning eyes wide open and a lovely sparkle in his face and I swear he was grinning at me I can’t thank John, Karen and the brilliant nurses and staff enough.

Can’t thank everyone here enough for everything they have done for Marley. He went blind just over a month ago with diabetic cataracts in both eyes, he is only 3. Ramona has been amazing from his first assessment all the way to his surgery yesterday. We will be forever grateful to you for giving him his sight back. Amazing practice and amazing people!

Would highly recommend! We had 3 visits and everytime they were really thorough and explained everything carefully to us and we felt that the health and wellbeing of our dog was their top priority. It’s well organised and it’s set in beautiful, well maintained surroundings. Thank you so much to all the staff xx
