Emer Lenihan

Resident in Veterinary Ophthalmology

Emer graduated from University College Dublin in 2008. She practised in Ireland for a number of years before combining travel and work in New Zealand and Australia. Emer then spent four years at the Royal Veterinary College’s general practice in London teaching veterinary undergraduates as well as treating patients. During this time, she also completed the BSAVA Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology. This has led her to the path of specialisation in Veterinary Ophthalmology.  Emer completed a 12 month internship at EVC and is delighted to now be one of our ECVO residents

Outside of ophthalmology, Emer enjoys music and making the most of the beautiful outdoor surrounds of Herefordshire and neighbouring counties with trips further afield when she gets the chance!
