Jo qualified in 2000 from a local Veterinary Hospital. She spent 6 months locuming, gaining valuable experience before joining us in 2001 as Head Nurse. She played a vital role in the clinic's move to its purpose built hospital at Marlbrook in April 2002. Since having her two boys in 2006 and 2008 Jo is now a part time Veterinary Nurse.
Jo is pictured with her cat Clyde. She lives on a sheep and beef farm with her partner and children. Her passion outside of work are her Hungarian Vizslas “Chilli” and “Fennel”, who she works and shows. Chilli attained her Show Champion title in August 2016, and Fennel gained her Show Champion title in September 2021 and then gained a COM award at a Field Trial in January 2022 which made her up to a full Champion. Jo also has a miniature Dachshund “Dizzy”, a working sheepdog “Fern”, a small flock of pedigree Lleyn sheep and also Dutch Spotted Sheep. Jo is looking forward to showing the sheep again at the local country shows.
