We are seeing cases on a more normal basis however, we are still split into two teams in order to keep the people on site to a minimum each day. We are still not allowing clients into the building which means that we will conduct part of the consultation over the phone and then bring your pet into the building to be examined. This is to protect you and our staff as it is impossible to remain socially distant while conducting a thorough eye examination. All of this takes longer so we are fitting in less appointments in a day. When the consultation is over we will ask you to pay over the phone using a credit card.

Dear Client

Due to the current situation in the UK with COVID 19, we are doing everything that we can to reduce the risk of COVID 19 spreading, but we do need you to help us by adhering to the following guidelines.
In the interest of keeping our team and other clients safe we request that you do not come into the main Leominster practice, or our various out-clinics**, if you feel unwell. This includes having a cough, cold and/or temperature. If you do cough or sneeze while in practice, please cover your nose and mouth with a tissue. One of our receptionists will direct you to the nearest bin. Please wash your hands and use the sanitiser provided afterwards.

To try to comply with the government directives regarding social distancing we are reducing the number of staff on site at any one time- this may mean that it is possible you will not see your usual vet. 

Our policy for this is as follows

* Please stay in your car & telephone us on 01568 616616 to inform us of your arrival.

* The Vet/Nurse will come out to you in your vehicle and collect your pet.

* The consultation can be completed by discussing with you either by telephone, or in the car park.

* Payment will be made by CARD over the telephone


if you do enter the practice, please use the hand sanitisers supplied.  If you don’t know where they are located, please ask one of our reception team. There are also tissues available.

We will avoid shaking hands with you for both yours and our safety.

We would prefer it if you could pay with a card rather than cash as suggested by the World Health Organisation (WHO). 

You will see team members cleaning and disinfecting areas of the practice. We apologise for any inconvenience, but we believe that these preventative measures will help to reduce any risks to both clients and our team.

We have robust internal procedures in place should a member of staff feel unwell or who may have been in contact with COVID 19. This is to ensure the least risk possible for the spread of the virus. 

We will endeavour to contact all our clients on the day before their appointment, to establish the best approach for each individual case.
