Part Time Veterinary Receptionist Position
We are looking for an experienced receptionist with excellent client care skills, to join our lovely front-of-house team. Vision is our Mission and we aim to always provide exceptional service to our patients, their families and referring vets here at our busy specialist veterinary ophthalmic centre, in beautiful Herefordshire.
Our friendly receptionists are the face of EVC, ensuring our patients, clients and referring vets always receive an excellent standard of service. As part of a team, you will take initial telephone calls from both clients and referring vets, make appointments and welcome visitors to the practice. You will also manage incoming emails, complete client paperwork, take payments for invoices, process repeat prescription requests, maintain client records on our database, scan and file documents appropriately, (including GDPR related information), and liaise with referring veterinary practices.
The successful candidate will combine compassion and care with an extremely organised and thorough approach. They will have outstanding communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to operate efficiently in a busy hospital environment. Previous veterinary or medical sector reception experience is desirable, but not essential.

This is a part time role, working 1pm to 6.30pm Monday to Thursday and 10.00am to 5.30pm on Fridays. Currently no weekend hours are required.
