Veterinary Ophthalmology Internship
Veterinary Ophthalmology Internship Position at the Eye Veterinary Clinic (Herefordshire, UK)
An exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon interested in a career in Veterinary Ophthalmology has arisen at our clinic. We have two 12-month intern positions available starting July 2022 and January 2023 at the Eye Veterinary Clinic, Leominster. The successful applicants will be working as part of our fantastic team, including fellow interns, three ECVO residents, four ophthalmology diploma holders and our anaesthesia specialist. We have a dedicated team of eleven veterinary nurses, four animal care assistants and two receptionists to help provide the best clinical and client service. A large focus will be on in-patient care and provision of assistance to the veterinary ophthalmologists. The successful applicant will be expected to be on-site when on-call.
This position is ideally suited to an enthusiastic individual who has already spent two years in general practice or has completed a rotating internship at a multi-disciplinary hospital.
