Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
We are looking for an additional RVN to join us at our independent specialist ophthalmology referral practice. Our seven veterinary ophthalmologists and three residents are supported by a clinical team consisting of a specialist veterinary anaesthetist, two interns, nine nurses and four animal care assistants. We also have two dedicated receptionists and an insurance administrator, which allows our nurses more time to be nurses. Although we specialise in ophthalmology and see cases referred from all over the country, no previous referral experience is necessary; you just need a desire to learn and to provide the best possible care for our patients, clients and referring practices. Our friendly team will look after you!
We work from a purpose-built practice, based just south of Leominster, situated within its own beautiful orchard. A lovely place to eat lunch, pick some fruit or just enjoy the view. Work life and home life balance is very important to us, our full-time nurses routinely work a four-day week with a one-in-seven weekend commitment.
An excellent package is on offer for the right candidate, including a competitive salary, private healthcare, employee assistance program, cash-plan membership, life insurance, 4% employer pension contribution, profit share and a generous CPD allowance.
For further details, and to send your CV, please contact our Nurse Manager, Kate Spitzmaul (kate@eyevetclinic.co.uk or Practice Manager, Jenny Corrall (jenny@eyevetclinic.co.uk)
