How we care for our hospitalised patients

At Eye Vet Clinic, we have always believed that for most of our patients it is preferable to return home the same day after an eye operation, where they will be cared for in the comfort zone of their own home. However, sometimes it is necessary for us to keep a patient hospitalised overnight to monitor the operated eye/s very closely or a pet owner might prefer to leave their pet with us.

For this reason, we are happy to be able to provide routine 24/7 hospital care for our patients with a veterinary surgeon or a qualified veterinary nurse staying on the premises overnight. Your pet will be kept in a comfortable, underfloor heated kennel and monitored regularly depending on the severity of their eye condition and their general health. Cats are housed in a separate ward where they will not be worried about the presence of dogs.
