Christine Heinrich, our Co-Founder, sadly passed away in September 2025 after a brave fight with cancer. Christine loved being a vet and in particular an ophthalmologist and it was a passion that she enjoyed sharing with others.
To say she was inspirational is an understatement, she touched many lives – patients, owners and all the people she worked with and trained. That inspiration lives on at the Clinic through Karen, Rachael and the whole team. She was so proud of each and everyone that had grown around her and we know that her legacy lives on in those people that she trained and mentored. Her ethos was always to do the very best for each pet and their owners in their own circumstances. We all still sorely miss our dear friend and co-worker and her infectious laugh, but are comforted by the difference she has made in the world.

What wonderful staff my little mate who has been blind for 5 weeks was with them on Wednesday for his operation, after 5 very stressful, weeks for him and even for stressful for me, this morning I believe he can now see me again he woke this morning eyes wide open and a lovely sparkle in his face and I swear he was grinning at me I can’t thank John, Karen and the brilliant nurses and staff enough.

Can’t thank everyone here enough for everything they have done for Marley. He went blind just over a month ago with diabetic cataracts in both eyes, he is only 3. Ramona has been amazing from his first assessment all the way to his surgery yesterday. We will be forever grateful to you for giving him his sight back. Amazing practice and amazing people!

Would highly recommend! We had 3 visits and everytime they were really thorough and explained everything carefully to us and we felt that the health and wellbeing of our dog was their top priority. It’s well organised and it’s set in beautiful, well maintained surroundings. Thank you so much to all the staff xx
