Emer Lenihan
Emer joined Eye Veterinary Clinic in 2018 having practised in Ireland for a number of years before combining travel and work in New Zealand and Australia. Emer then spent four years at the Royal Veterinary College’s general practice in London teaching veterinary undergraduates as well as treating patients. During this time, she also completed the BSAVA Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology. This has led her to the path of specialisation in veterinary ophthalmology. Emer completed a 12 month internship at EVC and is delighted to now be one of our ECVO residents
Outside of ophthalmology, Emer enjoys music and making the most of the beautiful outdoor surrounds of Herefordshire and neighbouring counties with trips further afield when she gets the chance!

What wonderful staff my little mate who has been blind for 5 weeks was with them on Wednesday for his operation, after 5 very stressful, weeks for him and even for stressful for me, this morning I believe he can now see me again he woke this morning eyes wide open and a lovely sparkle in his face and I swear he was grinning at me I can’t thank John, Karen and the brilliant nurses and staff enough.

Can’t thank everyone here enough for everything they have done for Marley. He went blind just over a month ago with diabetic cataracts in both eyes, he is only 3. Ramona has been amazing from his first assessment all the way to his surgery yesterday. We will be forever grateful to you for giving him his sight back. Amazing practice and amazing people!

Would highly recommend! We had 3 visits and everytime they were really thorough and explained everything carefully to us and we felt that the health and wellbeing of our dog was their top priority.
