Emer Lenihan
Emer graduated from University College Dublin in 2008. She worked for several years in Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and the UK, including the Royal Veterinary College’s first opinion teaching hospital and she earned the BSAVA Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology. Emer joined Eye Veterinary Clinic in 2018 and has since completed an ophthalmology internship, ECVO residency programme and has successfully gained her European Diploma. Emer is interested in all aspects of veterinary ophthalmology.
Outside of work, Emer enjoys music, the beautiful outdoors of Herefordshire and travelling further afield.

What wonderful staff my little mate who has been blind for 5 weeks was with them on Wednesday for his operation, after 5 very stressful, weeks for him and even for stressful for me, this morning I believe he can now see me again he woke this morning eyes wide open and a lovely sparkle in his face and I swear he was grinning at me I can’t thank John, Karen and the brilliant nurses and staff enough.

Can’t thank everyone here enough for everything they have done for Marley. He went blind just over a month ago with diabetic cataracts in both eyes, he is only 3. Ramona has been amazing from his first assessment all the way to his surgery yesterday. We will be forever grateful to you for giving him his sight back. Amazing practice and amazing people!

Would highly recommend! We had 3 visits and everytime they were really thorough and explained everything carefully to us and we felt that the health and wellbeing of our dog was their top priority.
