John Mould
John joined Eye Veterinary Clinic in 2004. Previously he spent a year in rural mixed practice in Shropshire before moving to Glasgow University. It was there that he developed an interest in ophthalmology. In his time at Glasgow he obtained the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Ophthalmology and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. At Glasgow he was responsible for all aspects of the clinical ophthalmology referral service and all undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. John is an Honorary Fellow of the Ophthalmic Imaging Association.
After many years on the clinical team John has now stepped down from clinical work and does most of our eye examinations under the BVA Eye Scheme to check pedigree dogs for hereditary eye conditions prior to breeding.
John and his family have four cats (all rescues) and six chickens
