Rachael Grundon
Rachael is one of the three directors and owners of Eye Veterinary Clinic. After 13 years in general practice she undertook an ophthalmology residency in Melbourne Australia, after 4 years away, she returned to the UK, working at the AHT then at the Eye Vet Clinic, gaining the Australian and European Diplomas along the way.
Her interests are in any aspect of ophthalmic surgery and also in non-domestic species ophthalmology.
Outside of ophthalmology she is a director of Carriacou Animal Hospital, a charity veterinary hospital on one of the Grenadine Islands. The hospital provides free veterinary care to the animals on the island and is staffed and supplied entirely by volunteers. Rachael also owns two naughty terriers – Woody and Tiggy (pictured) – who come to work every day and ‘hang out’ in the staff doggy-daycare!
